Is it just the lighting, or do some of the frets not come quite to the edge? Also, the little strip of rosewood at the bottom looks curiously, not quite straight. The fingerboard, apparently a replacement, looks a little funny. I'm not feeling exactly warm and fuzzy about this one though.

The seller seems like a straight up classical dealer, and describes the sound as not very loud but sweet and clear. There's one out there, and it looks nice to me, with its rounded Spanish shape:Īll I can figure out is it was only made in 1971-2, which largely accounts for its "rarity", and made from Indan rosewood in Sweden (rather than of Brazilian like the lower and higher numbered 40 and 50, or in New York like the top class G-50, if that even ever existed). Mike or other Goya/Levin heads out there, what do you know about the G-45, and what opinions might you have?
